I have seen people with a year of experience rock a test and a 30 year AutoCAD instructor at a local community college fail miserably. A 30 min test can tell me volumes as to how well you will perform using our selected software. I test all candidates in proficiency of CAD if they are brought in for an interview. But I put very little stock in educational experience with CAD software when reviewing a resume. It definitely doesn't hurt to have a certificate on your resume.
